An opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist to join our team.

Wellington Park is a 94-bed modern, yet well-established Aged Care Service, offering high-quality levels of accommodation and privacy. 

The Role

We currently have a Full-Time position.  The successful applicant will have availability Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high‑quality care by ensuring rosters are published, maintained and aligned with operational needs.  You will work closely with the Centre Manager and wider management at times, ensuring that daily adjustments and staffing communications occur.

Skills Required

As an aged care home Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, staff, contractors and visitors.

• Ability to answer and make many phone calls, presenting with a friendly and helpful manner.  You will be required to redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take comprehensive messages when departments are unavailable

• Filing of staff and resident information

• Providing administration support to Senior Management 

• Experience in rostering (essential) experience with Human Force is advantageous and ability to make calls and follow up with staff on a daily basis in relation to shift coverage.

• Strong time management and ability to prioritise competing demands

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

• High computer literacy and adaptability to new systems

• High-level interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment

• Positive attitude and a solutions‑focused approach

Essential

• Must have a current national police certificate or be willing to complete a criminal history check/NDIS check

• Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa
