About the role

Join the dynamic team at Sleep and Lung Care as a Medical Receptionist at our location in Doncaster and Brunswick . This full-time role is an integral part of our medical administration operations, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical professionals.

Training will be done at the main office in Epping. The successful candidate will mainly be working mainly between the clinic locations in Doncaster East and Brunswick with the expectations to to do cover at the other practice Locations occasionally.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the clinical team

• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

• Assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks

• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring a comfortable environment for our patients

• Provide general administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and empathetic manner

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail

• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and various office equipment

• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
