Senior & Intermediate External Auditors - Darwin – Mid Tier Firm

SENIOR & INTERMEDIATE EXTERNAL AUDITORS – DARWIN – MID-TIER FIRM (JOB ID 1120)

We are recruiting Senior and Intermediate External Auditors for a well-established mid-tier accounting and advisory firm in Darwin. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to a broad range of audits across companies, trusts, partnerships and listed organisations, while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. 

The Role: 

• Lead or support end-to-end external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations 

• Assess financial statements and internal controls, identifying and resolving complex business issues with practical strategies 

• Thrive in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration, innovation and best-practice audit approaches 

• Build trust with clients and stakeholders, maintaining integrity and ethical behavior throughout engagements 

• Mentor and coach junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and building internal capability (Senior Auditor role) 

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified (or studying towards) 

• Intermediate: 2–3 years’ public practice experience; Senior: 4+ years leading audits in mid-tier or similar firms 

• Demonstrated experience delivering statutory reports for large private or listed organisations 

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to shape audit strategies and methodologies alongside cross-functional teams 

• Deep knowledge of internal controls, including assessing, designing, and documenting control environments 

• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience, with a proactive, organised approach
