INTERMEDIATE AUDITOR – SYDNEY CBD – GLOBAL ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY FIRM – ASX, PRIVATE & NFP CLIENT EXPOSURE (JOB ID 1761)

The Role: 

• Assist in the delivery of external audit and assurance engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients 

• Work closely with Seniors, Managers and Partners throughout all stages of the audit process 

• Prepare audit workpapers, testing documentation and supporting financial analysis 

• Assist with the preparation of audit reports, financial statements and management communications 

• Gain exposure to listed entities, large private groups, NFP organisations and regulated industries 

• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist clients in strengthening internal controls 

• Participate in client meetings and develop strong stakeholder management skills 

• Contribute to due diligence, valuation and other advisory-related projects as opportunities arise 

• Build technical knowledge while progressing towards increased responsibility and client ownership 

About You: 

• 2–4 years' external audit experience within an Australian Chartered or CPA firm 

• CA or CPA commenced or actively progressing towards completion 

• Strong understanding of audit methodology, financial reporting and accounting standards 

• Experience preparing audit files and working directly with client stakeholders 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability 

• Motivated, professional and committed to building a long-term career in audit 

• Experience using CaseWare or similar audit software highly regarded
