INTERMEDIATE EXTERNAL AUDITOR – BRISBANE – WELL-ESTABLISHED CA FIRM (JOB ID 1109)

Our client is a well-established Australian professional services firm with a team of approximately 100 professionals across multiple service lines. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and a client-focused approach, they support privately owned businesses, growing enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations with audit, tax and advisory services. Their Brisbane team is now seeking an Intermediate External Auditor to join their growing audit division. 

The Role: 

• Plan and execute external audit engagements in line with Australian Auditing Standards 

• Assess risk, evaluate internal controls, and perform substantive testing 

• Analyse financial information and prepare clear, accurate working papers 

• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries 

• Work closely with senior team members and Partners on audit engagements 

• Contribute to process improvements within the audit function 

About You: 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline 

• Commenced or working towards CA ANZ or CPA qualification 

• Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
