Client Services Manager

Be the face of a premium construction cleaning brand

Babylon Construction Cleaning delivers builders cleans, final cleans, sparkle cleans and commercial cleaning for builders, developers and commercial contractors across Sydney. Our clients are site managers and contract administrators working to tight handover programs — when a unit is ready, they need us there, and they need a straight answer on the phone.

We're looking for a Client Services Manager to be that person. You'll be the voice clients associate with Babylon: warm, capable, and quick to give them a clear answer. You'll take the booking, price the routine work off our rate card, get it into the schedule, and confirm it in writing.

This is a newly created role reporting directly to the General Manager. It's a genuinely varied job — part client services, part coordination, part executive support — and you'll have real ownership of how it takes shape.

What you'll be doing

Client services

• Being the first point of contact for client enquiries by phone and email

• Building genuine working relationships with site managers and contract administrators

• Quoting routine cleans from our rate card, within an agreed authority level

• Coordinating dates and site readiness with builders and site supervisors

• Issuing booking confirmations and keeping clients updated when programs shift

• Referring larger jobs and complex pricing to our Business Development Manager

• Managing the client services inbox and keeping job records accurate

Coordination

• Working with our Operations Administrator so every confirmed job is rostered and resourced

• Liaising with our site supervisors on access, sequencing and priorities

• Cross-training in rostering and subcontractor purchase orders to provide leave cover

Recruitment support

• Posting and refreshing job ads for our cleaning crews

• First-round phone screening of applicants

• Verifying White Cards and work rights before anyone reaches a trial shift

• Booking trial shifts with our supervisors and following up the outcome

• Keeping a warm pipeline of screened candidates so we can scale up quickly when we win work

Executive support

• Diary and inbox support for the General Manager

• Preparing documents, quotes and correspondence

• Following up outstanding items and keeping things moving

• General office and administrative support

What we're looking for

• Excellent spoken and written English — you'll be representing Babylon to major builders every day

• A warm, confident phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly

• Experience in client services, executive support, recruitment coordination, contracts administration or project coordination

• Sound judgement about when to decide and when to escalate

• Strong organisational skills and real attention to detail

• Discretion — you'll see commercial and confidential information

• Confident with software; you pick up new systems quickly

Nice to have

• Construction, trades, cleaning or facilities background

• Experience with scheduling or workforce platforms such as Deputy

• Experience supporting a business owner or senior manager

• Recruitment or high-volume screening experience

We're open to candidates from outside construction. If you've been brilliant with clients in another service business, we'll teach you the industry.

What we offer
