Hire A Mover is part of a group that includes Hire A Box, Hire A Packer and Hire Self Storage. We have been moving, packing and storing for homes, businesses and the insurance sector across Australia for more than 15 years.

We are a hands on, entrepreneurial business with a lean team and a large and growing national footprint.

As we keep growing, we are looking for a Client Services Manager to look after our commercial clients and make sure every job we run for them goes well.

About the role

Our clients deal with you while their jobs are running. You keep them informed, make sure they are happy with the service they are getting, and manage our teams so the work gets done properly every time.

What the day to day looks like

•      Being the point of contact for your clients from the moment a job is booked until it is finished.

•      Putting together quotes.

•      Working with our operations team so jobs are delivered efficiently and on time.

•      Staying in touch with operations and our crews in the field as jobs progress.

•      Heading out to site from time to time to meet clients or catch up with our teams.

You will usually have a number of jobs running at once, all at different stages. Keeping them moving and keeping every client in the loop is the heart of the role.

The role will flex around the right person. The standard of service our clients get from us does not.

What matters most

Three things, above everything else.

•      Confident and driven. You back yourself, you make the call, and you chase the outcome rather than waiting on someone else.

•      Very good attention to detail. In this work the detail is the job. You are the one who picks up what everybody else missed.

•      Great with people. This is the big one. Clients trust you quickly and they stay with you. You are as easy to deal with on site as you are on the phone.

Who this role would suit

You do not need a background in our industry. We can teach you how the work runs. How you deal with people is the part we cannot teach, and it is the part that counts.

You might be a client services or account manager now, or a project manager, coordinator, site supervisor or estimator. You might be doing something else entirely. If you are organised, sharp on detail and people back you, get in touch.

Experience around insurance builders or restoration companies is a bonus, not a requirement.

•      $90,000 to $110,000 base plus bonus plus super, depending on experience
