About the role
Are you an organised, proactive and people-focused administrator who loves keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
The Property Council of Australia is looking for an enthusiastic SA Office Coordinator to join our Adelaide team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised professional who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships, and takes pride in creating a positive and efficient workplace experience.
As the first point of contact for members, stakeholders and visitors, you'll play a vital role in supporting our South Australia Division while helping deliver the advocacy, events and member engagement activities that shape Australia's largest industry.
About Us
The Property Council of Australia is the leading advocate for one of Australia's most significant industries, representing organisations that invest in, develop, own and manage property across the country.
We work closely with government, industry leaders and our members to create stronger communities, better cities and a more prosperous future.
About the Role
Reporting to the SA Deputy Executive Director, you'll provide high-quality administrative and operational support across a diverse range of activities including:
· Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Adelaide office
· Providing executive and team support, including diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements
· Preparing agendas, minutes, committee papers and correspondence
· Managing office records, templates, databases and shared files
· Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense documentation
· Acting as a professional first point of contact for members, suppliers and stakeholders
· Supporting the delivery of events through registrations, logistics and administration
· Helping maintain a collaborative, organised and welcoming office environment
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and taking ownership.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines excellent administration skills with a warm, professional approach.
You'll bring:
· Experience in office coordination, administration, executive support or similar roles
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
· Confidence coordinating meetings, diaries, travel arrangements and documentation
· Experience managing invoices, expenses or financial administration
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· A customer-service mindset and ability to build positive relationships at all levels
· The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
· Proficiency across Microsoft Office and business systems
Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude, strong initiative and a genuine willingness to support others.
And what else?
At the Property Council, you'll be part of a purpose-driven organisation that values collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
We support ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of continual learning and improvement. Our offices are located in the CBD, close to public transport and we support flexible working arrangements, ensuring you have a work-life balance. Our wellbeing programs offer a range of lifestyle benefits, and you even get a day off on your birthday!
