With a strong pipeline of upcoming works and continued national growth, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from high performing Estimators who want to own outcomes, influence delivery, and accelerate their career.

The Opportunity

Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in developing competitive and commercially sound tenders across a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects.

You’ll be embedded in our Pre Contracts team, taking ownership of tender submissions, preparing accurate cost estimates, and developing winning pricing strategies that support our expanding project pipeline.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Driving tender success by preparing accurate and competitive proposals, cost plans, and estimates safely, on time, and on budget.

• Reviewing project documentation by digging into drawings, specifications, schedules, and bills of quantities to nail down estimating requirements.

• Developing methodologies while working closely with site and project teams to optimize sequencing, staging plans, programs, and pricing strategies.

• Performing quantity take offs and preparing precise direct and indirect cost estimates.

• Evaluating and negotiating by sourcing, assessing, and negotiating the best quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Managing risk and compliance, participating in risk assessments, tender reviews, and ensuring everything complies with company governance and client expectations.

• Securing smooth handovers and coordinating the successful transition of awarded projects over to our delivery teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in an Estimator or Junior Estimator role within the construction, infrastructure, mining, or industrial sectors.

• A strong understanding of estimating principles, cost planning, and tender preparation.

• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and complex contract documentation under pressure.

• High level commercial awareness with a practical, get it done mindset.

• Confidence communicating and running tender clarification meetings with subcontractors, clients, and leadership.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry standard estimating software.

Bonus points if you

• Hold a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

• Have a knack for analyzing productivity and market pricing data to find smarter, faster ways to win work.
