About the role: 

Set within tranquil landscaped gardens, we offer a range of medical and surgical services including oncology, day surgery, endoscopy and intensive care.

We provide specialist inpatient and day rehabilitation for people recovering from an operation, injury or illness. 

Sunnybank private hospital has state-of-the-art technology with the benefit of a convenient location and personalised care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
  • Manage a busy reception desk
  • Answer and redirect calls
  • Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
  • Conduct follow-up requests and make reminder calls for visits
• Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
• Perform Health Fund Checks as required
• Manage the collection of excesses/co payments
• Coordinate with staff from other departments
• Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

Essential Criteria:

• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Works well independently and within a team
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
• WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
