Senior Chef - Commune

Senior Chef: With a minimum of 2+ years of experience, this role offers a casual role of up to 38 hours per week. . Your responsibilities will encompass innovating new menu selections, creating daily specials, and managing stock orders as needed. A deep enthusiasm for the world of breakfast cuisine is a must for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cook meals following the venue's recipes and plating guides, ensuring high quality and timely service.
• Keep the kitchen safe and clean by adhering to food preparation and cleanliness rules.
• Show expertise in various cooking techniques, including grilling, deep frying, shallow frying, and cooking meat, seafood, and poultry.
• Participate in preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items with attention to detail.
• Maintain kitchen and stock areas in an organized and clean manner.
• Prioritize Occupational Health and Safety and Food Hygiene practices.
• Assist the head chef in enhancing current menu items and creating daily specials.

• Flexible availability for different shifts on a rotating 7-day schedule.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
