Take ownership and shape the Credit function
We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager, or a Senior Credit Officer ready to step into a leadership role, to oversee the credit function and support the ongoing management of customer accounts.

This is a hands-on position responsible for credit risk management, collections, and the development of effective credit control processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to maintain strong cash flow and minimise credit risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the credit control function.
• Assess customer credit applications and perform credit risk reviews.
• Set and manage customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue balances.
• Manage the end-to-end collections process, including debt recovery and payment arrangements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Analyse and report on credit performance and aged debt.
• Complete reconciliations, journals, and assist with month-end activities.
• Respond to customer and internal account enquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.

About You

• Previous experience in a Credit Manager position or a senior credit role with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, collections, and accounts receivable.
• Experience managing high-volume customer accounts.
• Well-developed communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and reporting. 

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing customer relationships with sound credit management practices and is comfortable being involved in both strategic and everyday activities.
