12-Micron is seeking a passionate and organised Events Executive to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role combining event coordination with sales responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to manage exceptional events, build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business.

Your Role

As an Events Executive, you will coordinate a diverse range of corporate events, conferences, private dining experiences, cocktail functions and special events, ensuring each event is planned and delivered seamlessly from confirmation through to execution.

You will also support the wedding sales executive by managing client enquiries, conducting venue inspections and preparing quotations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys event coordination while also developing strong client relationships and contributing to venue sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of corporate and social events

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout their event journey

• Manage client enquiries from initial contact through to event confirmation where required

• Conduct venue site inspections and client meetings

• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and contracts

• Prepare function sheets, floorplans, event orders and operational documentation

• Conduct planning meetings and final event confirmations

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution

• Manage event timelines, dietary requirements and guest logistics

• Prepare invoices, manage payment schedules and complete final reconciliations

• Provide on-the-day client meet-and-greets and ensure smooth event handovers to Operations

• Identify opportunities to upsell menus, beverages and event enhancements

• Work collaboratively with the Sales, Operations and Kitchen teams to deliver exceptional client experiences

• Provide sales coverage and support during the Wedding Sales Executive's rostered days off

• Maintain a high level of service and responsiveness across both corporate and social enquiries

Working Week: Monday – Friday (with occasional evenings or weekends for key events)

About You

• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

• A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients

• Positive, proactive and solutions-focused

• Able to manage multiple events simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong administrative and computer skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience with Momentus Enterprise software is highly desirable

• Comfortable working within a roster that includes Saturday coverage

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination, event sales or hospitality

• Experience coordinating conferences, corporate events or premium functions

• Strong client relationship, communication and presentation skills

• Confidence in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service

• Full Australian working rights required
