Food Service Manager

 About the role

Reporting to the National Business Manager - Food Service, you will be responsible for owning National Distributor customers, driving distribution and volume/value within the Foodservice Channel including QSR, HORECA, Petrol & Convenience, Wholesale, Industrial, and Route. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and grow a defined list of Distributor Accounts 

• Design and implement business plans and strategies to capitalise on opportunities within national Food Service channels

• Negotiating terms with Key Distributors

• Manage tender process by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with State Sales Leads to deliver national programs

• Plan and execute all national promotional activities 

• Conduct regular business reviews with distributors where applicable

• Plan and execute relevant trade shows 

This position does not provide the ability to work from home.

About you:

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Strong track record of success in the Food Service channel of broader FMCG industry, or closely aligned with food and hospitality

• Experience in managing National Distributors

• Effective negotiation, communication and organisational skills; with the ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent relationship building skills

• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, commerce or another business-related discipline

• Have a knowledge of Microsoft suite of products and CRM capabilities.
