Amin’s Butcher & Grill is growing, and we’re looking for absolute WEAPON butchers to grow with us.

With our 4th butcher location and 5th Amin’s branded venue on the way, we’re building an A-grade team to take the butchering game to another level. About us

With 20+ years in the industry, Amin has taken his experience, knowledge and love for the trade and turned it into a brand that’s changing what a modern butcher business can look like. Today, Amin’s spans retail butchering, wholesale meat supply and our Butcher & Grill restaurants — where customers can choose their cut straight from the butcher and have it cooked fresh on the grill. We’re serious about our meat and even more serious about the craft. We break down, cut, prepare and produce in-house, combining proper butchering with a new-age approach to how meat is sold, served and experienced.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Breaking down, cutting, trimming and portioning a wide range of meats to a high standard

• Preparing retail cuts, value-added products and customer orders

• Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation across the butcher display

• Serving customers and providing knowledgeable advice on cuts, preparation and cooking

• Keeping on top of stock levels, rotation and product quality

• Minimising wastage and getting the best possible yield from every product

• Receiving, checking and correctly storing meat deliveries

• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and temperature-control standards

• Keeping benches, equipment, cool rooms and work areas clean, organised and ready to go

• Working efficiently during busy trade and keeping production moving

• Following Amin’s recipes, cutting specifications and quality standards

• Supporting junior butchers and apprentices and sharing your knowledge where needed

• Working closely with the wider butcher and management team to keep the department running smoothly

• Taking pride in your work, your counter and the quality of every product that goes out under the Amin’s name
  

Qualifications & experience

• Qualified butcher and/or strong hands-on butchering experience

• Confident breaking down, cutting, trimming and portioning meat

• Strong knowledge across beef, lamb and poultry

• Experience in a fast-paced retail or high-volume butcher environment

• Good understanding of yields, wastage, food safety and meat handling

• Reliable, efficient and able to work as part of a strong team

• Leadership experience is highly regarded for those wanting to step up
