National Membership Project Officer

The primary role of the National Membership project Officer is to support the effective delivery of membership-related projects that enhance the mission of the Society in Australia support the Society’s Members growth in Vincentian values and the offering of good. This role focuses on operational project management, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement across a varied portfolio of initiatives within the Membership, Mission & Youth space across the eight lower Councils and their related bodies corporate.

This position operates with a small, integrated team that includes the National Council Chief Executive Officer, who acts as the key link between the National Council and the National Council Secretariate, ensuring alignment of governance, strategic direction, and operational delivery across the organisation.

The team includes the National Manager (who provides strategic oversight across all Membership, Mission & Youth projects), the Committee Support Manager (responsible for supporting the two Standing Committees with their governance documentation), and the National Membership Council Project Officer, who leads and supports delivery across assigned operational projects.

KEY BUSINESS DRIVERS

This position is directly responsible to the National Manager – Membership, Mission & Youth, or their delegate, for the following KBDs and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (which are outlined at Attachment 1).

• Strategic Alignment and Impact – Demonstrated impact of projects on strategic outcomes.
• Collaboration and Engagement – High quality collaboration and engagement with state and territory stakeholders, reflected in regular communication, participation in projects, and positive feedback at completion of projects.
• Stakeholder engagement - proactive involvement of State and Territory Council representatives in planning, co-design, and review of the projects, strengthening ownership and alignment across jurisdictions.
• Project Delivery Performance – Consistent completion of membership and mission projects on time and under budget, with agreed milestones met and minimal need for rework or extensions.
• Monitoring & Evaluation - Robust project monitoring, reporting, and learning practices across the portfolio

These KBDs and the associated KPIs cannot be delegated without the authority of the CEO or their delegate. Other duties may be required, as directed, commensurate with skills and abilities.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $120,000.54 per year
