BAKER / PASTRY COOK

Olivers Bakery & Café - ULVERSTONE are looking for Baker / Pastry Cook that has suitable amount of experience to be able to work unsupervised.The applicant will work in a team of other bakers also at a good pace of production with good understanding of baking machines and how to use them eg oven , pastry roller , bread mixer , bread moulder, work hours negotiatable for right applicant and is capable of a great product , must be able to work in a team environment , all penalty rates are paid. This job is long term .We are a bakery that makes all of our own products from scratch and by pre mix and is possibly an authentic Australian Bakery is best described that way . Minimum 2-3 years of commercial baking experience with ability to work independently

Essential skills: bread and pastry production, dough preparation, operating commercial ovens, mixers, and moulding equipment

Qualifications: Certificate III in Baking or equivalent trade qualification preferred but not essential for experienced candidates

Australian citizens and permanent residents only. Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.

weekends are required on a roster system.We are open 7 days a week with 2 days off every week.
