Advanced Cranes and Rigging is seeking a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Derrimut. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in keeping critical equipment operating safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.

With more than 20 years of experience, Advanced Cranes and Rigging is a leading name in crane hire and lifting services, delivering across major government and private infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of cranes, trucks, and trailers, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and job-ready.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing faults across all mechanical components

• Performing crane maintenance, from minor servicing to major repairs

• Repairing and replacing components such as brakes, suspension, and steering systems

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults

• Using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve complex issues

• Reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics

• Collaborating with other mechanics and technicians to solve complex problems

• Maintaining accurate service and repair records

• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Providing maintenance advice and technical guidance

• Working to the highest standards across all equipment and vehicles

• Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
