FULL TIME / PART TIME BARISTA

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Barista to join our team on a full-time / part time basis. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about coffee excellence, customer service, and team leadership. You will play a hands-on role behind the machine while also overseeing daily café operations and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

Barista & Coffee Operations

• Prepare and serve consistently high-quality espresso-based coffee and beverages

• Expert operation of commercial espresso machines and grinders

• Dial-in, adjust grind, extraction, and milk texturing to house standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station at all times

• Monitor coffee quality, wastage, and stock levels

• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Essential

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a professional barista

• Proven ability to produce consistent, high-quality coffee under pressure

• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and workflow

• Previous experience in a barista role

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong customer service mindset

• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak service periods

Desirable

• Experience in specialty coffee or high-volume café environments

• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling

• Barista certification or formal hospitality training

• Understanding of Australian food safety standards
