About the role
Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for the performing arts?
Overnewton Anglican Community College is seeking a highly motivated Performing Arts Administrator to join our vibrant Performing Arts Department on an ongoing basis for 0.8 FTE. Working across our Yirramboi (Keilor) and Canowindra (Taylors Lakes) campuses, this role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of exceptional classroom, co-curricular and performance programs.
As a vital member of the team, you will support the Head of Performing Arts and contribute to the success of a rich and engaging Performing Arts program that inspires students to achieve their creative potential.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Performing Arts, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across a wide range of activities, including performances, concerts, productions, camps, excursions and tours.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to the Performing Arts Department along with maintaining departmental records, data, budgets and reports
Managing departmental enquiries via phone and email
Liaising with external venues and service providers to coordinate events
Working closely with the Facilities Team to ensure venue setup, audiovisual requirements and signage are arranged
Assisting with the organisation of camps, excursions and domestic and international tours
Promote performing arts achievements through social media and College publications in collaboration with Community engagement team.
About You
You are a highly organised professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in a school administration role will be highly regarded
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
The ability to work independently and show initiative
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Confidence using a range of ICT systems and platforms
A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Knowledge of or experience within the Performing Arts sector will be highly regarded.
