Scheduler / Coordinator

We are seeking the services of a Scheduler / Coordinator to be a part of our team responsible for ensuring that our field crews are supported and our stakeholders informed.

About the Role

 We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Scheduler / Coordinator to allocate and manage the daily works dispatched to our crews.  In this role, you will act as the crucial link between our field crews, and stakeholders, ensuring jobs are fully resourced, safety and compliance requirements are met, and downtime is kept to a minimum. With an appetite for administration duties, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day to day workflow.

 Key Responsibilities-

 Scheduling and Co-Ordination - Efficiently and accurately scheduling daily jobs for field-based teams in streetlight maintenance and construction, with data entry as a key task.

Workflow management – Create and track job progress, assist in troubleshooting day to day issues, ability to prioritize task with excellent time management.

Administration – Ensuring dispatched work is completed on time and  applying daily billing.

Communication – Responding to emails and phone calls from external stakeholders and speaking with crews on incomplete daily work.

Resource & Material Coordination - Ensure field teams have the correct stock items, equipment, and site access documentation before heading out.

 System Management: Track crew progress, and update job platforms.

 Logistical responsiveness - Readjusting routes in real time in response to breakdowns, bad weather, misc. etc.

• Experience: Proven background in scheduling, dispatching, ideally within the electrical, construction sector.

• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using scheduling software, plus standard office tools. (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) 

• Problem Solver: Calm under pressure with a strong ability to juggle competing priorities and changing project timelines. 

• Communication Skills: Clear phone manner and an assertive yet polite approach to team management and stakeholders. 

• Qualifications: This is not a traditional trade role however exposure in the electrical field is desirable.

• Competitive Annual Salary of $150,000 plus Superannuation. 

• Stable, permanent full-time position with a supportive team culture.
