Council’s community facilities bring people together for meetings, celebrations, programs and events. As bookings continue to grow, you help keep the section running smoothly by providing reception, customer service and administrative support to the Community Facilities team.

As an Administration Officer, you respond to phone and email enquiries, assist people with facility bookings and explain hiring processes, availability and fees. You show potential hirers through the centre, enter bookings, process payments, follow up outstanding accounts and maintain accurate booking and customer records.

You prepare correspondence, coordinate printing and photocopying, and support daily office operations. You also assist with meetings and events by coordinating RSVPs, arranging catering, booking equipment, preparing and completing minutes and meeting materials.

Your work helps residents, community groups and organisations access community spaces and services. You support expressions of interest from new and existing hirers, maintain electronic records and contribute to a reliable customer experience across the Community Facilities team.
