Building Designer/Revit Drafter

Tony Cook Building Design is seeking an experienced and dedicated Building Designer/Revit Drafter to join our professional team on a full-time basis, creating detailed technical drawings and models for residential properties.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Provide preliminary designs and working drawings for residential project homes, one-off designs, renovations, duplexes, and multi-residence dwellings

• Attend job consultations and meetings with clients and builders

• Oversee the completion of documentation and timely submissions of Residential Building Approvals

• Liaise with the councils and other relevant authorities

• Check over your own work for accuracy

Experience & attributes:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience working with ANZ building standards and codes (BCA)

• Over 10 years' experience and knowledge of Revit

• Sound structural knowledge and design ability

• Full Australian working rights & residence

• Proactive and confident approach to work

• Ability to show initiative and ensure work is completed to requisite standards
