Sign Shop Manager

About the role
As our Sign Shop Manager, you will oversee the end‑to‑end production of signage for Flower Power stores and other company projects. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will ensure all signage is produced to a high standard, on time, and in line with our evolving brand direction.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Producing artwork and signage materials, including point‑of‑sale, as directed by the Marketing Manager.

• Managing production schedules and deadlines for delivery of signage to stores.

• Operating and maintaining key sign shop equipment:

  • Mimaki JFX‑500 flatbed printer

  • Zund G3 cutter

  • Laminating machine

  • Roland XC‑540 Soljet roll‑to‑roll printer

• Preparing files for print production and finishing, including banners, laminating, ACM and PVC, packaging, and vinyl application for vehicles.

• Managing existing store signage, including warehousing and stock control at Head Office.

• Supervising sign shop staff and ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.

• Ordering and managing supplies such as corflute, ACM, vinyl, banner materials, and inks.

• Creating and applying signage for company vehicles, trucks, and trailers.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

You will bring:

• Experience in the signwriting industry, including wide‑format printing.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Confidence using Windows‑based systems to operate printers and RIP software.

• A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.

• The ability to multi‑task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, including strong typography skills.

• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.

• Reliability, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently.

• Supervisory experience is highly regarded.
