About the Role

As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools and spas throughout Sydney.

Your daily duties may include:

• Regular pool servicing and water balancing

• Equipment inspections and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing faults with pumps, filters, chlorinators and heating systems

• Green pool treatments

• Equipment repairs and replacements

• Heat pump and filtration system installations (training provided)

• Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations

• Completing digital service reports using ServiceM8

• Maintaining a clean, organized and fully stocked service vehicle

As your experience grows, you will progress into more advanced technical work including plumbing modifications, automation systems, commercial equipment, and complete equipment installations.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in the pool industry is a must  

We are looking for people who have:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong customer service skills

• Good problem-solving ability

• Mechanical aptitude

• Self-motivated with an ability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Physical fitness and ability to lift to 20kg

• Pride in producing high-quality workmanship

• Commitment to workplace health and safety

The following would be advantageous: 

• Certificate III or IV in Swimming Pool & Spa Service

• Must have Experience in pool servicing

• NSW Contractor License (or willingness to obtain)

• Pool heating or automation experience
  

Essential Requirements

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver License

• Ability to pass a police check if required

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Australian working rights

• Working With Children Check
