Our client is a well-established Chartered Accounting firm on Brisbane’s southside with a growing business services team. Known for delivering high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services, the firm provides a collaborative environment where staff are supported, mentored and encouraged to grow. You’ll work directly with experienced Directors, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse client base and developing your skills beyond compliance. 

The Role: 

• Work across tax compliance, financial reporting, and business advisory  

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and supporting workpapers  

• Assist with tax planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and analysis  

• Manage client files and build strong client relationships  

• Support new entity setups, including companies and trusts  

• Collaborate closely with Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors on client engagements  

About You: 

• 2–4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice  

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion  

• Confident in client communication and relationship management  

• Experience with MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero or similar cloud-based systems and Microsoft Excel  

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards  

• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive mindset
