MUVE Logistics is a growing Australian transport and logistics provider delivering tailored freight, warehousing and supply chain solutions.

As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Finance & Invoicing Manager to strengthen our financial processes and support the ongoing performance of the business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing invoicing, billing, accounts receivable and financial reporting across our transport and logistics operations.

Working closely with the Directors, Leadership Team and operational teams, you will ensure financial transactions are accurate, timely and commercially sound. You will also provide meaningful financial insights and identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and increase efficiency.

Experience within the transport, freight or logistics industry will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the accurate and timely invoicing of freight, transport and logistics services.

• Work closely with the Directors and Leadership Team to support financial planning and business decision-making.

• Partner with operational teams to validate charges, rates and supporting documentation.

• Oversee accounts receivable and follow up outstanding and overdue payments.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer account queries.

• Process credit notes, adjustments and refunds in accordance with company procedures.

• Review and improve invoicing and billing processes, systems and controls.

• Monitor cash flow and contribute to financial forecasting and planning.

• Prepare and analyse financial and operational reports for the Directors, Leadership Team and other key stakeholders.

• Assist with budgeting and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved financial performance.

• Maintain compliance with relevant financial, taxation and industry requirements.

• Support, guide and develop junior finance team members.

• Collaborate across finance, operations, customer service and senior leadership.

• Manage and coordinate offshore finance team in the Philippines.

About You

You are a commercially minded finance professional who is confident working with high-volume transactions, resolving discrepancies and partnering with senior leaders and operational teams to achieve accurate financial outcomes.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in finance, invoicing, billing or accounts receivable.

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Invoicing Manager or similar leadership role.

• Experience within the transport, freight or logistics industry will be highly advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of invoicing, accounts receivable and financial management.

• The ability to work closely with Directors and senior leaders, providing clear and commercially focused financial insights.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience improving financial processes and controls.

• A relevant qualification in finance, accounting or a related discipline.

• CPA or equivalent professional certification will be highly regarded.
