And as travel evolves, so do we.That’s where you come in.We’re looking for a Treasury Manager to oversee the day to day treasury operations for the ANZ business. This role will have a particular focus on the daily cash management function. You will execute the FX trades as required to fund bank accounts with a view to having the right funds in the right currency at the right time.If you thrive in fast-moving, continually changing environments, have a keen eye for maximising efficient liquidity usage, and possess a strong process improvement mindset, this could be your boarding call.
The Role: Treasury ManagerThe Treasury Manager is responsible for cash management across multiple bank accounts in multiple currencies. You will also provide immediate term (next four weeks) forecasting and reporting of prior days cash actuals to the greater business.Reporting to the Head of Treasury in Sydney, you’ll be responsible for executing spot and derivative trades while also keeping FX exposure minimised and within group policy. This agile role requires thoughtful and profit bearing cash management experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesManaging appropriate cash funding across 25 bank accounts in multiple currencies as well as the repatriation of funds between ANZ and other Group entitiesAccurate forecasting and daily reconciliation of cash and actuals to liquidity committeeEnsure payments are processed, authorised, and released within timeframes.Daily support of IT2 treasury management system and providing support and coverage as necessary for the greater treasury teamSupport effective working capital utilisation and maximised liquidity usage within cross-departmental teams within ANZFX risk management via execution of spot and forward trades to keep FX exposure minimised and within group policyStrict adherence to and firm grasp of treasury policy and procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will HaveMinimum 5 years experience in financial markets, banking operations or Treasury overall.Prior achievement in managing and maintaining cash forecasting.Ability to work cross-departmentally, building strong relationships both internally and externally.A recognised ACT or accountancy qualification.Solid skills in IT2 and Oracle will be highly regarded.Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as an agile mindset.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
