Ready to take the next step in your NDIS Plan Management career?
Are you an experienced NDIS Plan Manager who enjoys helping people, solving complex problems and supporting others to do their best work?
NSP Plan Management is looking for an experienced NDIS Plan Management Team Leader to lead and support our Plan Management team while remaining hands-on with participants and the day-to-day work of Plan Management.
This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role where you'll be a key point of contact for our team, participants, nominees, support coordinators and service providers.
About the Role
As our Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day activities of the Plan Management team, provide guidance on more complex matters and help ensure we continue to deliver an accurate, responsive and genuinely helpful service.
You'll work closely with NDIS participants, nominees, support coordinators and service providers, responding to enquiries, resolving issues and helping people understand and navigate their plan-managed funding.
You'll also work closely with the Directors and have the opportunity to contribute ideas and improve the way we work.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and supporting the day-to-day activities of the Plan Management team
Acting as a key point of contact for participants, nominees, support coordinators and service providers
Responding to and resolving funding, invoice, claiming and Plan Management queries
Providing guidance to staff and assisting with complex or escalated matters
Coordinating workflow and priorities to ensure invoices and enquiries are handled accurately and efficiently
Reviewing work and helping maintain a high standard of accuracy and service
Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of team members
Assisting with training and onboarding new staff
Keeping up to date with NDIS changes and helping the team apply them in day-to-day Plan Management
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the participant experience
About You
You'll already have strong practical experience in NDIS Plan Management and be ready to take on greater responsibility.
You'll be approachable and supportive, confident communicating with participants and stakeholders, and comfortable making decisions and working through more complex NDIS matters.
You'll bring:
Strong experience in NDIS Plan Management
A sound understanding of NDIS funding, claiming requirements, pricing arrangements and support categories
Experience leading, mentoring, training or providing guidance to others
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A genuine commitment to providing responsive and participant-focused service
Experience using Planability would be highly regarded.
Applicants must hold either a Certificate III in Accounts Administration or Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping).
Why Join NSP Plan Management?
We're a growing organisation with a small, supportive team and a strong focus on providing genuinely helpful Plan Management.
You'll enjoy:
$90,000 + superannuation
A permanent 9-day fortnight (0.9 FTE)
Hybrid working, with a combination of office and work-from-home days once established in the role
Paid office closure over the Christmas/New Year period, in addition to your annual leave entitlements
Working closely with the Directors and having genuine input into how we operate
The opportunity to lead and develop a knowledgeable Plan Management team
A role where you can remain hands-on and connected with participants while developing your leadership career
