Flooring Sales Consultant

About the role

Beare Flooring Beenleigh is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Flooring Sales Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of our sales department, driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for showcasing our extensive range of flooring products and solutions to residential and commercial clients, whilst providing expert guidance and tailored recommendations to meet their specific needs and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to understand their flooring requirements, preferences and budget constraints

• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations across our full range of flooring options, including timber, laminate, vinyl, carpet and tile solutions

• Conduct showroom consultations and site visits to assess customer needs and provide accurate quotations

• Prepare professional proposals and quotations tailored to customer specifications

• Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales whilst maintaining profitability

• Build and maintain a strong client database, nurturing leads and encouraging repeat business

• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction

• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis

• Handle customer inquiries, concerns and complaints professionally and promptly

• Stay up-to-date with product ranges, new flooring trends and competitor offerings

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the flooring, home improvement, retail or construction industry

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele

• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Sound knowledge of flooring products, materials and installation processes, or a willingness to develop this expertise

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software and apple applications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Full Australian driving licence and access to reliable transport

• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
