The Role: 

• Manage a portfolio of SME, business owner and professional services clients across tax, compliance and advisory 

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and compliance work for companies, trusts, SMSFs and complex structures 

• Deliver tax planning, business structuring, cash flow, forecasting and strategic advisory solutions 

• Work directly with clients as a trusted point of contact, building strong long-term relationships 

• Identify opportunities to improve business performance through commercial advice and proactive planning 

• Mentor and review Intermediate and Junior Accountants, supporting technical growth and workflow quality 

• Utilise cloud-based systems including Xero, MYOB and integrated advisory technologies 

• Collaborate with leadership on broader advisory projects, client strategy and firm growth initiatives 

About You: 

• 4+ years’ Australian public practice accounting experience 

• Strong tax and business services background across SME and privately owned business clients 

• CA/CPA qualified or near completion 

• Experience managing client relationships and workflow independently 

• Strong technical capability across compliance, tax planning and advisory 

• Xero / MYOB proficiency with strong cloud systems confidence 

• Excellent communication and commercial problem-solving skills 

• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff 

• Motivated to grow within a progressive advisory-focused firm
