Senior Accountant

About the role

Your responsibilities will involve preparing financial statements, tax returns and other statutory returns to completion. You will also identify, raise and resolve client accounting and business issues with managers and partners. Another important aspect of the role will be the development of relationships with clients and external third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and other statutory returns to completion

• Identify, raise and resolve client accounting and business issues with managers and partners

• Develop relationships with clients and external third parties

• Manage junior team members and review their work

About you

• Completed or part completed CPA or CA Program

• Around 5 years' experience in Public Accountancy Practice

• Proficiency in taxation and issues relating to CGT, FBT, Div 7A, and Payroll

• Direct client experience

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Great attention to detail

• Good working knowledge of Xero Green & Blue Accounting & Tax software
