SEARING IRON PTY LTD T/A MIDORI Japanese Restaurant based in Osborne Park WA. As the name suggest, it is a well-known Japanese restaurant known for its quality food and hospitality. Currently, they are looking for a qualified and skilled chef as below: Duties & Tasks:

• Teppanyaki cooking by applying a range of methods and techniques
• Order and maintain all the inventories required for food production
• Handle, store, and rotate all food items ensuring quality and maintain an efficient store
• Examine food to ensure quality, prepare food for different periods
• Defrost, store, prepare correctly as per food item in accordance with instructions and adhere to safe food handling practice
• Prepare, cook, season the dishes
• Train / coach kitchen staff or other chef/cook and give clear instructions to them
• Plan and evaluate menu and estimate food cost
• Report to the Head Chef

? Employment type: full-time (at least 38 hours per week) ? Requirements:

• Diploma of hospitality including Certificate III & IV in Cookery + 1 years of experience in commercial kitchen (three years of relevant work experience can substitute for qualification)
• Relevant work experience as a Teppanyaki Chef is mandatory.
