Avida Motorhomes, Australia's leading manufacturer of premium motorhomes, is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our Varsity Lakes dealership.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall performance of the dealership, including sales, workshop operations, customer experience, and day-to-day business management. You'll inspire your team, drive growth, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from first enquiry through to vehicle delivery and ongoing after-sales support. About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee all aspects of the dealership's operations, leading both the sales and workshop teams while ensuring the business operates efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

This role suits an experienced dealership or branch manager with a strong background in the automotive, caravan, RV or related industries who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and delivering outstanding business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the Varsity Lakes dealership.

• Provide leadership and support to the sales, workshop and administration teams.

• Drive sales growth while maintaining strong profitability.

• Oversee workshop productivity alongside the Service Supervisor

• Monitor business performance, budgets and key performance indicators.

• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.

• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Ensure high standards of customer service across all departments.

• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry partners.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Previous experience managing a dealership, branch or multi-department business.

• Strong leadership experience across both sales and operational teams.

• Experience within the automotive, caravan, RV, marine or related industry is highly regarded.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.

• Sound commercial and financial understanding with experience managing budgets and business performance.

• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
