Requirements

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist who views our channels as a strategic growth engine, not just a content calendar. In this role, you will own Eightcap's global social presence, shaping our narrative and elevating our global influence.

To drive real impact in this role, you will:

• Own Organic & Paid Social: Plan, create and optimise content across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and X, amplifying posts to increase brand presence and reach.
• Execute Campaigns That Perform: Lead Meta-based reach and engagement campaigns, ad setup, A/B testing and real-time optimisation, driving results through owned and paid strategies.
• Create the Content, Not Just Curate It: Produce visual content using tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva, maintaining consistency in tone, identity and messaging.
• Think Globally: Localise messaging and visuals for APAC, EMEA and LATAM audiences without losing what makes the brand recognisable.
• Track, Learn, Refine: Monitor reach, engagement and community growth, using insights to continually sharpen strategy.
• Build Community: Stay ahead of platform trends and engage with online communities to build trust and loyalty, including growing Eightcap's presence within Reddit's trading communities.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, product and brand teams to support go-to-market strategies and campaigns.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience managing social channels for a brand, with measurable impact on reach, engagement and brand presence.
• Strong communicator, confident engaging customers/clients in social discussions.
• Solid understanding of Meta ad setup, formats and optimisation, including A/B testing.
• Ability to create engaging visual content using Canva, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Analytical mindset, comfortable tracking metrics and iterating based on data.
• Confident working independently and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience running global or multi-region campaigns is highly desirable.
• Fintech, trading, or financial services experience and paid community management beyond Meta (TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit) or experience with social listening/scheduling tools, are a bonus but not essential.
