About the Opportunity:
Assist senior chefs with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, utilising your skills and experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section and team operates to optimum efficiency by organising, supporting and coaching the team to Lucas Restaurants’ standards. You will be a passionate and a highly energetic hospitality professional.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Chef experience in a premium a-la-carte restaurant
• Experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
• Management candidates must have solid understanding of management practices and financial budgets/targets
• Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
• Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team
• Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
• Solid understanding of food safety standards
• Proven ability in building effective relationships
• Organisational and time management skills
• Experience using Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
