Recruitment Coordinator

Coffey Testing has a newly created role for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team, based out of our Newcastle (currently Warabrook) office.

About the role

The Recruitment Coordinator is a newly created permanent full-time position based in Newcastle (currently Warabrook). Reporting to the HR Manager, the role is responsible for coordinating and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities across the business.

The primary focus of the position is to attract and secure high-quality candidates through effective recruitment practices, while ensuring all candidate assessments, background checks, and compliance requirements are completed with appropriate diligence. The Recruitment Coordinator will also facilitate key onboarding activities to support a positive employee experience and ensure new starters are successfully integrated into the organisation.

The role plays a critical part in delivering an efficient, compliant, and candidate-focused recruitment process that supports the business current needs and planned requirements.

About you 

The role would be best suited to somebody that reflects the below qualities and experiences:

• 5+ years in a recruitment role, either internal or agency
• Proven experience in a blue-collar industry/recruitment setting
• Ability to conduct values-based recruitment
• Proven ability to effectively utilise HRIS/TMSA
• Proven experience engaging with multiple stakeholders with the ability to change priorities as the business needs
