About The Role

Based in our CTP Hub, you will provide support to various solicitors across the CTP practice, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day work involved in personal injury claims.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

Arranging medical appointments and managing client diariesDrafting correspondence and other legal documentationReviewing client files and contacting clients to obtain instructionsAssisting with drafting client statementsDrafting applications on behalf of clients to the Personal Injury CommissionPreparing submissions in relation to medical disputesDrafting letters of instruction to medical practitionersSupporting solicitors with file management and general administrative tasksCollaborating with various solicitors across the CTP practice

About You

We are looking for a law student who is keen to gain meaningful practical experience and develop a career in personal injury law.

You Will Ideally Have

Current tertiary study in LawA genuine interest in personal injury lawStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to manage competing prioritiesConfidence communicating with clients professionally and empatheticallyA proactive attitude and willingness to learnPrevious legal administration, clerk or paralegal experience is advantageous but not essential

Most importantly, you will be someone who is keen to learn, takes pride in their work and wants to build a strong foundation for a career in personal injury law.
