INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – NORTHERN RIVERS NSW - LONG-STANDING ACCOUNTING FIRM (JOB ID  1538)

Our client is a long-standing, CPA-qualified accounting firm that has been supporting the Northern Rivers community for over 50 years. Known for their approachable, down-to-earth style, the team works closely with small businesses, tradespeople, professionals, and primary producers to deliver practical, personalised advice.  

The Role: 

• Delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services across both compliance and advisory 

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entity types 

• Managing BAS, IAS and liaising with the ATO and other government bodies 

• Supporting clients with business structuring, tax planning, and general business advice 

• Working closely with clients to improve cash flow, business performance, and long-term growth 

About You: 

• Degree qualified in Accounting or a related discipline 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in public practice / business services 

• CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards 

• Strong experience with cloud-based accounting software 

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills 

• Ability to work both independently and within a team 

• Proactive, motivated, and eager to grow your career
