INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – EAST BRISBANE – PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 1509)

Our client, is a leading professional services firm specialising in business and advisory services, SMSF administration and Audit & Assurance. Based in East Brisbane, they work with a diverse range of clients across the business services and corporate advisory sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain exposure to a broad client base in a supportive team environment. 

The Role: 

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and accounts for clients  

• Assist with tax compliance including BAS, IAS, and individual/company/trust returns  

• Support senior accountants and managers in client advisory tasks  

• Guide clients on cloud-based accounting software  

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service  

About You: 

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field  

• Currently undertaking or holding CA ANZ or CPA qualification  

• 2–3 years’ experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm  

• Strong communication and client service skills  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  

• Up-to-date knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislation
