Project Accountant (Vietnamese Speaking)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage project accounts, budgets and financial indicators.
• Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders and financial documentation.
• Monitor project income, expenses, funding and profitability, identifying variances and opportunities for additional billing.
• Review and approve project expenses, overheads, transfers and related account activity.
• Manage project billing, including investigating unbilled expenses and processing write-offs where required.
• Work closely with the receivables team to follow up on outstanding contract billings.
• Provide clear financial and variance reports to management to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor remaining project funding and ensure financial performance stays on track.
• Close project accounts upon completion and prepare acquittal and statutory reports.
• Support internal and external audits by compiling relevant financial information.
• Any other relevant duties as reasonably required by Finance manager.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Membership of CPA Australia or CFA Institute.

Experience:

• Previous experience in project financial or accounting management.
• Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Experience using accounting systems.

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
