Casual Guest Service Agent

Great Southern Hotel Melbourne (GSH- Melbourne) is seeking an enthusiastic, professional and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team.

Located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, Great Southern Hotel offers 265 guest rooms and welcomes thousands of business and leisure travellers each year. As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay. Working as part of a supportive Front Office team, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional and friendly approach.

• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.

• Handle reservations, guest enquiries and requests promptly.

• Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally.

• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions and services.

• Resolve guest concerns confidently and escalate when required.

• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.

• Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

• Maintain high standards of presentation and professionalism at all times.

• Assist with administrative duties and daily Front Office operations.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

• Previous experience in Hotel Reception or Reservations (preferred).
