Lead one of Victoria's most recognised organisations dedicated to empowering girls and young women.
For more than 110 years, Girl Guides Victoria has helped generations of girls discover their confidence, develop leadership skills and realise their potential. Today, we are part of a global movement (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts - WAGGGS) of more than 10 million girls across more than 150 countries, united by a shared belief that girls and young women can change the world.
The world has changed dramatically over the past decade.
Girls and young women are navigating increasingly complex social, economic and technological challenges. At the same time, communities are seeking organisations that can build resilience, confidence, leadership, belonging and opportunity. There has never been a more important time to invest in the next generation of women leaders, and Girl Guides Victoria has an important role to play in shaping that future.
We are seeking an authentic, strategic and purpose-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead Girl Guides Victoria into its next chapter.
This is more than a CEO role.

Working closely with the Board, the Victorian State Commissioner, staff, volunteers and members, you will strengthen organisational sustainability, build capability, steward significant property and financial assets, and foster trusted relationships across the Guiding movement.
You will lead an organisation that is proud of its history and ambitious about its future bringing strategic clarity, commercial thinking and collaborative leadership to ensure Girl Guides Victoria continues to empower girls and young women for generations to come.
About the role

· lead organisational improvement and transformation initiatives
· steward a significant property and asset portfolio
· foster a high-performing, values-driven culture
· build trusted relationships with volunteers, members, GGA, govt, philanthropic partners & community
· champion opportunities that grow the impact of Girl Guides Victoria across the state
About you
You are an experienced executive leader who combines commercial capability with genuine commitment to purpose.
You have demonstrated success leading complex organisations through periods of strategic change while maintaining stakeholder confidence and organisational culture. You understand governance, financial stewardship and long-term sustainability, and you know how to bring people with you through change ensuring inclusion, respect, safety and ongoing engagement.
Most importantly, you believe investing in girls and young women is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen communities and shape Australia’s future. You will bring a clear and ongoing commitment to child safety, safeguarding and creating safe, inclusive environments.
If you are inspired by purpose, motivated by transformation and committed to leaving organisations stronger than you found them, we would love to hear from you.
