Medical Receptionist – Part Time | 4–5 Days per Week

Victoria Harbour Medical Centre – Docklands

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy and friendly general practice.

This is a part-time position working 4–5 days per week, with some Saturday mornings required on a rotating basis.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous medical reception experience – essential
• Ideally has experience working in a busy GP/general practice
• Is confident using medical practice software; Best Practice experience highly regarded
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Is professional, friendly and approachable
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Can confidently multitask and work in a busy environment
• Works well as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and committed to their agreed working days
• Presents professionally and understands the importance of patient confidentiality

Essential requirements

Previous medical reception experience is essential. Applicants without medical reception experience will not be considered.

Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights for the duration of employment. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
