Responsibilities  

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our pre-opening team full time, and play a pivotal role in launching our exciting new hotel in Perth. This is a unique opportunity to build the people, culture, and HR foundations that will shape the success of the hotel from opening and beyond. 

Working closely with the General Manager and leadership team, you will lead all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, culture and engagement, learning and development, workforce planning, compliance, and HR operations. 

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Lead all HR activities for the hotel’s pre-opening and ongoing operations, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement.  
• Provide expert advice and support to leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and workplace compliance matters.  
• Drive a positive workplace culture through recognition, wellbeing, learning and development, and diversity initiatives.  
• Oversee HR systems, employee records, contracts, reporting, and workforce analytics.  
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, WHS requirements, and company policies.  
• Partner with hotel leadership to develop talent, build capability, and support strategic business objectives.  
• Support payroll processes, HR budgeting, and the implementation of HR projects and organisational initiatives. 

About YOU 

• Previous experience in a Human Resources Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.  
• Hospitality, hotel, tourism, or service industry experience highly regarded.  
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and HR best practice.  
• Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations.  
• Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and workforce analytics.  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  
• High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.  
• The ability to balance strategic initiatives with operational priorities. 
• Hold Australian full work rights
