Medical Receptionist

Doctors@Tocumwal is seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team.

The position will initially be offered on a full-time basis to provide additional support while a current team member is away overseas on extended leave. Following their return, the role will transition to part-time hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is available to work full-time initially and is then looking for a stable part-time position with a supportive medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and caring manner
• Managing appointments and bookings
• Handling phone enquiries
• Processing billing and administrative tasks
• Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day operations

About You:

• Previous administration, reception or customer service experience, particularly within a medical practice (medical experience highly regarded but not essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to increase working hours over time
• Warm, calm and approachable
• Confident taking ownership of the front desk and administration processes
• Reliable, steady and consistent
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
