I'm working with a leading professional services firm in Perth looking for an experienced Senior Business Services Accountant who wants greater client ownership, stronger advisory exposure and a genuine pathway towards Manager.
You'll work across a quality portfolio of privately owned and growing Australian businesses, with direct exposure to experienced Managers and Partners.
The opportunity
You'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing your technical and commercial capability.
Your day-to-day will include:• Managing a portfolio of SME and privately owned clients• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and BAS• Providing tax planning and business advisory support• Working directly with business owners• Assisting with complex client matters• Reviewing work and supporting junior accountants• Identifying opportunities to add value beyond compliance• Building long-term client relationships
About you
You'll ideally have:• 3+ years' Australian public practice experience• Strong Business Services and Tax experience• Experience managing a client portfolio• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge• Strong communication and client relationship skills• An interest in developing further into advisory• Ambition to progress towards Manager
