We’re partnering with a national accounting firm with a strong international network to find an Intermediate Tax & Business Services Accountant for their Central Queensland office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with rural and regional clients while gaining exposure to national and global expertise. 

The Role: 

• Support managers and partners across a diverse client portfolio, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services  

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and assist with month-end processes  

• Conduct financial analysis and contribute to business advisory projects  

• Build strong client relationships with a focus on rural and regional clients  

• Travel regionally to meet clients and attend community events  

• Collaborate within a high-performing team and the wider national/international network  

• Contribute to a positive, supportive office culture  

About You: 

• 1–3 years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm  

• CA or CPA-qualified, or near completion  

• Strong interest in the agriculture and rural business sector  

• Excellent attention to detail and a client-centric approach  

• Collaborative, proactive and eager to learn
