Intermediate Accountant – Rockhampton/Flexible – Public Practice

INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – ROCKHAMPTON/FLEXIBLE – PUBLIC PRACTICE – (JOB ID 1392)

An established and well-regarded professional services firm is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its growing Agribusiness advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career working with a diverse portfolio of rural and regional clients, supporting businesses across one of Australia’s most important industries. 

You will join a collaborative team of advisors who work closely with privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients across Australia. 

The Role:  

• Preparing bank reconciliations, BAS, IAS and financial statements 

• Assisting with month-end processes and financial reporting 

• Reconciling accounts and supporting bookkeeping functions 

• Assisting with tax compliance and advisory services 

• Supporting the team in delivering high-quality service to clients 

• Work alongside experienced managers and partners  

• Opportunity to travel to regional areas for client visits and community events 

About You: 

• 2–3 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm 

• CA or CPA studies underway (or near completion) 

• A genuine interest in the agriculture sector 

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 

• A collaborative and proactive approach 

• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset
