This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant seeking hands-on client exposure, strong technical development and the opportunity to build advisory capability within a progressive national firm. 

The Role: 

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and general purpose reports across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals 

• Assist with BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG and payroll tax compliance 

• Perform reconciliations, journals and supporting workpapers 

• Conduct tax research and support general tax administration 

• Work across a diverse client base including SMEs, growing businesses and family groups 

• Respond to client queries and assist in resolving day-to-day accounting matters 

• Build strong client relationships and develop advisory capability 

• Gain exposure to commercial problem-solving and strategic client discussions 

• Work closely with senior team members and participate in ongoing technical and professional development 

About You: 

• Permanent resident or Australian Citizen

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or Business 

• Currently completing or planning to commence CA/CPA 

• 1–3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice 

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills 

• Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction 

• Adaptable, organised and able to manage competing deadlines 

• Motivated to grow into a trusted business advisor 

• Positive, collaborative and eager to continue developing professionally
